Company Overview
Selbach Machinery L.L.C. was formed in 1996. Prior to 1996, the company had operated as Selbach Consulting, which was founded in 1989.
Until December 2004, the main office was located in New Jersey - USA.
In January 2005, we moved our offices to Wilmington, North Carolina.
Selbach Machinery has specialized in all types of wire processing and needle manufacturing equipment. We design, manufacture, and distribute machines at our facilities in the United States.
The design and manufacturing of new equipment is done by using the newest CAD/CAM 3D modeling technology. Furthermore, when appropriate, we work together with suppliers of machinery, known as leaders in their field.
Our President, Herbert Selbach, holds a degree in production engineering from the University of Cologne, Germany.
He has over 35 years of experience in design, research & development of machinery for precision parts and needle manufacturing.
Mr.
Selbach has headed several companies in the United States involved in
manufacturing of high precision parts (Schuette,
Chester Precision), wire drawing-, wire grinding-, and needle manufacturing
machines (Schumag-Kieserling),
before establishing his own business. Apart from this business, he has consulted
a number of European companies in establishing new manufacturing operations in
the United States.
Selbach Machinery focuses on all types of needle manufacturing and small wire processing equipment.
We have either developed new machinery ourselves or work together with reputable companies, when appropriate.
We can supply turn-key equipment for needle manufacturing operations, or design and build new machines to customer specifications. No project is too small for us, no project is too big for us, not to be considered.
We like challenges.
Confidentiality
With many years in the needle and wire industry, we have accumulated a wealth of inside knowledge about many companies and their operations.
Due to our involvement and special knowledge of customer's projects and operations, confidentiality is very crucial. Our customers can be guaranteed the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality when working with us.
Unless a customers gives us written permission to use his company as reference, we do not disclose any business details. This is also the reason, why we do not publicize a customer reference list.
